Chris Chelios: Time To Call It Quits?

The Detroit Red Wings are one victory away from capturing their second straight Stanley Cup and we all know that it’s their immense depth and mix of young and old that makes them so successful as a team.

But does the end of yet another Stanley Cup run, win or lose, mark the end of Chris Chelios’s 25 season NHL career where he scored 185 goals and 948 points?

Role Call: What the Pens Need To Win Game Four

If the Stanley Cup finals series goes six or seven games Evgeni Malkin, who sits at 33 points right now, could very well be the firstplayer since Wayne Gretzky to score 40 points in the playoffs. (Gretzky did itin 1993)

The Vets Can Still Hack It

Growing up hockey names like Sergei Gonchar, Niklas Lidstrom, Bill Guerin and Chris Osgood were hot commodities around the league.

Ten years ago Lidstrom was second among defensemen with 57 points, Gonchar was second among defensemen in goals with 21, Guerin was a 30-goal scorer and Chris Osgood’s numbers were in the upper echelon of goaltenders around the league.
