Time Traveling Today: Mike Vick
Mike Vick's less than impressive NFL re-debut on Sunday seemed to dull the hype that surrounded his absence from the league. After word came out that Vick kind of, sort of, half-expected to start this year, it only raised our level of expectation that much more. However, Coach Andy Reid did not see fit to give Vick much of a chance to do any thing on Sunday, so it will be interesting to see what k... (continue)
Tatoos are cool.
Thought #1- I’ve always thought if you aregoing to get a tattoo, you’d best have a sweet story to go with it. Youknow, spend solid couple of minutes explaining your ink rather thanbeing like guy that’s like, “uh, Fords rule, Chevy sucks! H-yeah that’swhy I got Calvin pisses on em.” Or maybe worse that sorority girl whopicks a random butterfly off those sketchy display charts, gets it putt on her si... (continue)
Are the Washington Caps Stanley Cup Ready?
When I look at what the Caps did this off season I'm reminded of the Pittsburgh Penguins of last season. On paper it appears they got worse losing Merrian Hossa and other key figures in their run but it ultimately made for a better team.

The Caps lost several key figures like Sergei Fedorov and Viktor Kozlov and Fedorov's lockeroom presence will be missed. Kozlov was a very productive center-win...

Who wants to fight Herschel?
Thought #1 – Lots of retired players take up second careers. Somesell cars, some coach, and plenty try to do some form of T.V., whetherit be sports related or just horrible sit-coms. *cough coughMicheal Strahan . Herschel Walker has decided to spend his golden yearsrolling around with other equally scary men and getting cauliflowerear. That’s right, Walker at the age of 47 is joining the UFC. Whil... Thigpen traded to the Dolphins
Chad Henne don't put your helmet on just yet, you may be holding that clipboard for a little longer.

After a season-ending  shoulder injury to Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington it looked as if Henne might become the starter.  However, the Chiefs have traded third-string QB Tyler Thigpen to the Dolphins for an undisclosed 2010 draft pick.

Thigpen is a solid backup QB who is very mobile and ca...

Is Mike Holmgren knocking on the Redskins door?
It has been no mystery that Mike Holmgren is interested to coming back to the NFL.  Apparently, Holmgren is ready to comeback as of 2010.  What you may not know is Holmgren's potential landing spot in the NFL.

Peter King of SI.com, who was recently was on Sirius XM Radio with Chris Russo of Mad Dog Unleashed may have shed some light on Holmgren's next potential NFL home.

The following is taken ...

Monday feels 3 days long
Thought #1 – If there is one thing youdidn’t want to be this weekend it was a quarterback in the state ofFlorida. Tampa’s Brian Leftwich was officially benched today meanwhileMiami’s Chad Pennington is most likely out for the season afterwrecking his shoulder yesterday, although he will have a second opinionwith the well known sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Kind of makes mewonder who he went to... (continue)
What You Should Strongly Consider Watching Right Now (and what you should avoid)
I've done it folks.  I've officially made my longest blog title yet (mostly because I couldn't think of a good title so I just rambled a bit).  So what is the point of this post.  Well, its actually the beginning of what will (hopefully) be a regular update here on the T-Spot.  To paraphrase Donna Summer, you work hard for your money people (unless you are a spoiled rich person... The Anatomy of Failure: The Redskins Business Model
As a paid business consultant I’ve decided to take the Redskins on as an in-voluntary client. The first step in problem solving is admitting you have a problem. The win-loss record and the lack of Lombardi trophies since 1991 is proof positive you have a problem.
Ownership – I believe Daniel Snyder wants to win but in order to win he needs to distance himself from his beloved Redskins. Daniel Snyd...
