Well, it was a fun run. The Flyers, going into playoffs as a number 7 seed, helped exorcise the demons of the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals, defeating the New Jersey Devils to move on to the second round. Then, the Flyers pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in sports history, coming back from a 3-0 deficit to win the series 4 games to 3 over the Bosto...

Entering this offseason, Devils GM Lou Lamoriello knew he needed to improve the teams defense. His top priority should have, and may have, been to re-sign Paul Martin. That can no longer happen. Martin, the top defenseman in this years free agent crop, signed a five-year, $25 million contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins. This is a major hit to New Jersey as Martin is one of the best puck moving ...

New Jersey Nets CEO Brett Yormark is not a big fan of a fan's right to express their opinions. Brett reportedly got after a couple of fans for rocking the universal "I'm embarrassed of my team" brown paper bag on their heads following Monday's 14th straight home loss, which was to the Heat, 99-98.
Now I get that the fans doing this is basically the same as them saying,"hey Brett, you...

College basketball analysts tend to look a lot like little kids at a merry-go-round this time of year. They can't decided to jump on or off, if they want to laugh or go into a crying fit, or if they want a grape or red snow cone which they no doubt throw on the ground after abut 2 minutes. Just take the Big East for example. Thursday morning they are the unshakable Goliath of college b...
