I read an interesting blog item this morning while chugging a pot of coffee to get rid of that 9am feeling. The Bleacher Report’s, Ryan Davenport crafted an interesting argument on how signing free agent defenseman Willie Mitchell will make the Caps better.
I like Willie Mitchell but I do not think he can deliver what I call the “Fedorov effect” as ...

Flyers Offseason Recap
The offseason for the Flyers so far has been summed up by two simple words:
Simon Gagne
The fan favorite was traded for defenseman Matt Walker and a 4th round pick in the 2011 NHL draft. Which led me to think about all the times I have attended a game and just blindly trusted that the food I was consuming was safe? Watching the report just made my stomach turn, thinking about all the food in general I have eaten at games. While the report was a little controversial and seemed to b... (continue)

[Guest Writer: Sean Udicious]

The Flyers, going into playoffs as a number 7 seed, helped exorcise the demons of the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals, defeating the New Jersey Devils to move on to the second round. Then, the Flyers pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in sports history, coming back from a 3-0 deficit to win the series 4 games to 3 over the Bosto...

The city of Chicago has seen its share of hard times. In 1871 they had a massive fire that lasted for days. It destroyed everything in it's wake. The city rebuilt though and once again became a prominent destination in the United States. Both economically and competitively.

They have had sports teams struggle in mediocrity and succeed to the heights of their profession. Among their teams, are the...
